Auridora
A nice book about Steilen's drawing. Pictures are very interesting - historical point of view and artistic one, well printed and in full page. Each image shows a little text with date of publication and a resume of the story it was taken from. Only grey tone except 3 color plates. Steilen work is very dynamic and shows common people and street mob. A good Dover book (and I'm not a fan of their work).

I supplied the Steinlen images used in this book to Dover. I think it's a really nice book of Steinlen's work in Gil Blas, but I do have to admit I was taken aback by the $325 asking price. I feel like a living antique.
