Jim Dine's art is well-known, but not necessarily his botanical drawings and paintings, which are especially moving. Included in this book are remarkable interpretations of a variety of plants, especially flowering, which grab my attention every time I pick up this book.

I am not familiar with Jim Dine's art, but found this at a very low price. It consists of colorful high quality images of eleven works, with two foldouts. The botanicals portrayed include amaryllis, lilies, orchids, artichokes, and gladiolas. The book does not say what the medium is, but it has the look of Impressionistic watercolor.
