Mr. Dellinger's paintings are beautiful, full of light and life. I saw one of his paintings in Bend, Oregon last summer, and was so impressed with the use of light that I came home and did some research. I was happy to find this book. I was happy to see his comments about the paintings--what inspired them, his feelings about them--also in the book. He occasionally includes poetry that he has written. My only fault with the book is that it is not long enough. I would willingly pay more for a book that includes more of his work.

Great reproductions of artwork. Terrific script and advice to artists. Poetry and paintings by author/artist brought an extra sense of artistic enjoyment..
