Another great book for beginners, this guide to digital photography tells you everything you need to know to get started with your camera, and is particularly strong on explaining the inner workings of the technology in the words a non-techie can understand. That might not sound like something you need to know, but the author does tie it into photography technique in a way that really helps you wrap your head around what you're doing. Suitable for children and adults, this is one of the best photography books to make learning photography fun and rewarding, and ultimately whether it succeeds will be down to yo. .

Following the CES 2017 announcement of its revival, Kodak Alaris has started shipping test rolls of its new Ektachrome to photographers for beta testing. all great positive news here, the only negative for me: can't afford paying for film photography, especially because the main reason i quit film photography decades ago (long before digital photography took over so harshly!) is because i'd rather develop film material myself in my own darkroom (lab) rather than sending it out to others! and it's TOO COSTLY! sigh!
