Little Voice Mastery by Blair Singer is a book about overcoming self-sabotage. While I think his book is a good beginning primer on self-sabotage, I prefer Gay Hendrick's book, The Big Leap. In the first half of Singer's book, he does a good job of explaining self-sabotage, where it comes from and the four reasons people fail. He explains how to change the messaging inside your head to something positive and powerful with 21 easy to follow exercises.

In Little Voice Mastery, author Blair Singer delivers strategies and techniques that will give readers the ability to: Maintain power in any pressure situation and stop debilitating chatter in their brain so they can attract what they want – now. This review is going to seen as arrogant and overly critical by some readers. I'm okay with that since I've written this review to be helpful to others in much the same way as I've been helped in the past by thoughtful Amazon reviews.

Being second edition and having a 4.5 rating from 77 reviews, you'd think this would be a pretty good book to read. Well, it's not.

Thank goodness I bought it used and paid less than $3.

I wanted to give a 1-star review but gave the text 2 because people of average intelligence or less will like the author's eighth-grade writing level and twelfth-grade advice. Maybe the book deserves 3 stars for the sake of that audience. (I'm trying to write a fair and useful review here.)

For people with above-average intelligence, you'd do much better-getting hold of a copy of W Timothy Gallwey's The Inner Game of Work. He's the author of the classic The Inner Game of Tennis. I would recommend the former though since it reflects his later and more advanced thinking on the subject.

The Inner Game of Work (could have been titled The Inner Game of Life) is much more thoughtful and practical than Little Voice Mastery.

Though I believe Blair Singer sincerely tried to make his book as useful as possible, Gallwey simply has a lot better advice and info to share about conquering that little voice that interferes with our learning, enjoyment, and performance.

Mr. Blair Singer is one in a million author.
This book is written in a very colloquial manner whose simplicity beholds brilliant ideas that gives results immediately.

Every second you spend through the pages, is a second of a well investment to yourself, to your every day life.

Some paragraphs might be repetitive for the acute mind; but some others are delightful to read them over and over.

This book is a MUST to every person who walks the path of self transformation to a higher self.

I thought the techniques he wrote about to overcome self-sabotage were good but somewhat elementary. This would be a good book for someone who is first learning about self-sabotage and beginning their journey toward freedom and little voice mastery.

The first thing that struck me about this book as I started reading was that Blair really knows his stuff. The second and possiblely more significant realization is that he very quickly becomes a "long lost friend". His style is very unique and put me completely at ease. Having gotten some way into the book, I can really notice my own "little voices" where I was somewhat oblivious to them before. I do know that I will be forever changed by simply understanding what the voices are and why they came to be. I thoroughly recommend this book. It will change the way you think for the better.

If you have ever been stymied by fear and resistance while in pursuit of your goals, you are already familiar with your little voice. It's the negative chatter that gets in the way of our confidence and clarity. In his book "Little Voice" Mastery, Blair Singer teaches us how not to be a slave to that little voice, but instead take control of it. He explains how to change the messaging inside your head to something positive and powerful with 21 easy to follow exercises. However, no change comes without effort which is also explained. You must practice and have personal accountability. My favorite phrase in the book is "Somewhere else in the world, someone is practicing while you're not, and when you meet him, he will beat you."

Mr. Singer's tone and style is never preachy, but instead supportive and empathetic. He is open about his own struggles with managing his little voice. It is obvious from his success, that he has learned to manage it very well.

A good book to have on hand to interpret those "little voice" warnings that come daily or when in a stressful situation. Listening to it can lead to better choices and getting you out of a lull of indecision. Good presentation by the author,

The book is easy to read and the instruction can be easily implemted to make immediate different to your life. This book is like all activities in life no action no change. Like all learning it is not a straight line but performing the action in the book on a daily basis you can start to see the changes in your life.

This is one of the easiest books to read and implement so unlike in the past I have got past page 10 and am still taking action on a daily basis I could recommend this book more highly.
I don't know why I just found out about this book as it absolutely nails it. This is the first book that I highlighted, tagged and dogeared the pages. This book is a must read for anyone that is falling short of their expected goals. I even ordered a second copy to go on my iPad so that I could always have access to read it while traveling.
