Thomas Burton Bottomore (8 April 1920, England – 9 December 1992, Sussex, England), usually known as Tom Bottomore and published as . Bottomore, was a British Marxist sociologist. Bottomore was Secretary of the International Sociological Association from 1953 to 1959. He was the eight president of ISA (1974-1978).
