Stakeholder pension scheme. Like personal pension schemes, stakeholder pensions must provide an income in retirement using a minimum of 75% of the fund. Stakeholder pension schemes were introduced in the UK on 6 April 2001 as a consequence of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999. Covering both implementation and conceptual issues, with a strong emphasis on performance measurement, value drivers, and management compensation, it allows readers to come to their own informed conclusions. Economic Value Added (EVA) and Value Based Management (VBM) are today’s hottest management buzzwords. But written information has often been biased and clouded by the authors’ hidden agendas. EVA and Value-Based Management is the first book to unflinchingly discuss the pros and cons of EVA and VBM.

Other key stakeholders include the person representing the organisation’s interests (most frequently an HR practitioner) and the individual’s manager. Mentoring is primarily about developing capability and potential in the role rather than performance and skills.

When looking for a textbook for our new Master’s Program, we were sceptical about finding anything that would be firmly theory based but at the same time applied and approachable. Luckily, a colleague recommended Corporate Communication, and it hit the target!

In the end you need to end up with something looking like this: Completing the stakeholder radar and color-coding it, is just half of the story. Now equipped with more transparency of who’s who, a product team needs to take action. In the interest of time I usually advise product teams to focus on only 2 groups of stakeholders.
