Like the title said, believe it or not this was actually a well written Marketing book. I obviously bought this for a course that I was in, and this is probably THEE only book that I have read from start to finish, when it comes to textbooks.

I was required to get this book for a graduate level class. It's is a decent read, but definitely not graduate level. It's probably suited more for high school students. Also, some of it is out of date, as they didn't even mention mobile phones as a marketing platform. Very basic case studies, good for a superficial understanding, but for a more in depth study I would look at Harvard case studies.

I purchased this required text for my marketing class. Last night I got to chapter 7 and abruptly my kindle jumped to chapter 17. I was missing 10 chapters. I called Cengage first thing is morning. They couldn't give a care in the world that the product they are selling through Amazon is defunked. They repeatedly just told me to call Amazon without expressing concern about how their product was being represented and distributed. It would seem to me that I would care very much how my product was being represented no matter who was selling it because in the end that product represents my business. AND, since the book is about MARKETING, you think you would care about whether or not the needs of you customers were being met since, you know, that's the point of MARKETING!!!!. I am going to talk to my school about this company's lack luster services and product. By the way, Amazon was great. They refunded my money and apologized. If I wasn't completely over a barrel on this, I would NEVER buy from Cengage again. As a adjunct myself, I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about using this book or any Cengage product for their class, think again and take care for your students. There is no reason to leave them at the whim of this company. Also, if you purchase this product you will not be able to use the online content that Cengage has to offer, so again, this company engages only half heartedly with their product distribution through other mediums.

Rented this textbook for my Marketing class and it gets the job done. Came as a hardback and has some highlighting from previous user, but still gets the job done.

I would order from the company again My son uses this book for his college class and loves it. He is very pleased with the price of the book and said he got it cheaper off Amazon then the college book store!

This book is the most boring book I've ever read. It's repetitive and can convey the same amount of knowledge in a 100 pages.
