I write and illustrate books about what I love to do and what I care about. I love sharing with children and adults, my writing process, how I create my artwork and sharing what I have learned about visual literacy. Happy me, lucky me, being a children's book author and illustrator.

by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace(Author). Great book for helping kids learn to count. Bought this for the kindle, and I don't like how small it is. Wasn't formatted very well as an electronic book.

I bought Paperwhite about 10 years ago and used it every Christmas when my goddaughter and her sister came over for our pre-Christmas celebration. In addition to making cookies and our special drink, we read Paperwhite and then arranged paperwhite bulbs in a variety of vases and stones. They took the bulbs for forcing home to watch them make spring. I bought this copy for my sister who has a 3 year old granddaughter. Annie loves to introduce Vivi to plants and other growing things. This will make such a nice tradition for them, too. It is such a sweet book and provides an activity for kids other than baking cookies. I have a couple of books by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace that I use when working with elementary kids as an Oasis tutor but Paperwhite is my favorite!

Great book when studying bulbs! My class loved the story. Fabulous illustrations that show the life cycle of a bulb.

The first five pages (title, dedication, etc.) had been scribbled on in pen to the point that I had to throw the book away. I am a librarian and wanted to use the story for a class plant project, but instead it devolved into " how we never treat books or sell them to unsuspecting patrons"
