Francine Pascal, the creator of the enormously successful teen tales .

Francine Pascal, the creator of the enormously successful teen tales franchise, explains how she's gone about following her heroines into adulthood. So just what is it about the Wakefield twins that keeps readers coming back? Speaking from her home outside Cannes, Pascal tries to pin it down. When I first thought of the idea for Sweet Valley High, I loved the idea of high school as microcosm of the real world. She decided, she says, to do it this way to give the books a more universal appeal.

Identical twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield and their friends have . Before she killed them. Now that the beast is dead, the Riccoli kids will have sweet dreams again. Francine Pascal, Jamie Suzanne.

Identical twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield and their friends have learned one thing from baby-sitting for the Riccoli family: dreams can come true. and so can nightmares. When the fire in Andrew Riccoli's dream turned to real flames, the twins took action. They killed the evil creature-half girl, half monster-in the kids' nightmares. But the creatures has left the kids' nightmares to terrorize them in real life.

If Looks Could Kill (Sweet Valley Twins). I mean, who would know how to take advantage of an empty mall better than the coolest girls in Sweet Valley?

If Looks Could Kill (Sweet Valley Twins). I mean, who would know how to take advantage of an empty mall better than the coolest girls in Sweet Valley? At first we were so excited, we hardly knew where to go: the sound booth to cut a CD, the photo shop to take modeling shots, or the shoe store to try on all those heels our parents would never let us wear. Of course, everyone had their own ideas-Jessica wanted to give everyone makeovers, Ellen begged for an ice-cream feast, and all Lila could think about was clothes, clothes, clothes! We would have wasted the whole night arguing if I hadn't taken control of the situation.

The Wakefield sisters are determined to keep their New Years resolution.  Even if it kills them.Identical twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield have always considered themselves best friends, but lately they've been acting more like best enemies.  So they make a New Year's resolution:  no more arguing or disagreeing about anything.  Jessica forces herself to gush over Elizabeth's new blouse, even though it's the dweebiest thing she's ever seen.  Elizabeth pretends she's thrilled to run into Jessica and her Unicorn Club friends at the movies, even though the Unicorns are the snobbiest girls on the planet.  And when adorable Eric Weinberg moves to Sweet Valley, the twins decide they can both have crushes on him.Jessica and Elizabeth will always be sisters...but will they always be best friends?

Synopsis: Elizabeth and Jessica have been getting on each others nerves lately, and now that they have fallen for the new guy, Eric Weinberg, they can't seem to stop arguing. The twins' parents suggest that Jessica and Elizabeth form a truce and follow a New Years resolution to avoid arguing with each other for a whole week, or else they will not be going to the ski resort with their parents.

The Unicorn Members and their friends hear about Jessica and Elizabeth's predicament and decide to create a game to see who can keep their resolutions for a whole week.

The rules are:

* Jessica and Elizabeth have to remain in good terms with one another and not fight.
* Lila Fowler shouldn't brag about herself.
* Janet Howell shouldn't eat any sweets.
* Steven, being obsessed with TV shows, shouldn't watch television.
* Joe shouldn't come to Caseys.
* Maria, being a child movie star, shouldn't look at any mirrors to admire herself.
* Amy shouldn't get tardy by coming to school late.
* The person who loses has to wear a big diaper to Lila's New Years Eve party all night long.

The game starts and the twins are determined not to lose at any rate, not just for the trip, but to avoid being humiliated at the party. Will they succeed, knowing that there are others trying to bring them down?

Review: This book was a lot of fun to read. The SVMS members create a `Survivor' (The TV Show) styled game of beating each other so that they are the last one standing. It was fun watching the different ways Steven or Janet would go to eliminate the others in the game. Janet is really cunning in this book, and makes sure that people's plan to bring her down backfire. I also like the fact that Elizabeth and Jessica actually joined forces to get back at Steven and Janet.

The ending was a little silly because I would have really liked to see Janet (or anybody else for that matter) wearing a diaper for all the trouble she caused. I also thought it was really dumb when the twins' parents didn't give them any punishment for trying to break their (and the others) New Year resolutions.

Other than that, it was still fun to see the lengths everyone went through to bring their opponents down.

Eric Weinberg and his sister moves to Sweet Valley,Eric starts 9th grade and Elizabeth and Jessica have crushes on him.Patty,Eric's sister is in 6th grade. Janet makes bets that Amy eats too many Sweets, and Joe eats too many Sundaes, and Jessica's clothes or something like that. Janet catches them She always says,ZAP! Man! I hate that girl! One day Joe breaks up a fight between Elizabeth and Jessica in Caseys, and Janet catches him.He wasn't ordering a sundae,He was doing a good deed! Janet and Steven want to be the only ones at the New Years party without diapers. No One had Diapers that night.

This book is really funny because everyone is trying so hard not to break their resolution so they don't have to so up at the party in a diaper. Janet Howell is making a plan to make sure she is the only girl not dressed in diapers. I recommend this book to anybody!

It was totally juvenile and I for 1 am not going to get excited about Jessica gushing over Elizabeth's blouse while secretly thinking it was horrible.

New Year's resolutions was what this book was all about. My favorite part is the way Janet Howell kept trying to get everyone else to break their resolutions (and not break her own.)
Jessica and Elizabeth make the impossible resolution. Not to fight with each other.
