What I was looking for was a nice overview of the dates and facts and people throughout US history. Whenever a US historical question comes up and the old brain is a bit slow on retrieval. Out comes the "Pocket History". It seems that the other more current books were all trying to lobby for the author's liberal or conservative opinions. I thought it was very George Orwellian to scrounge for out of print books to avoid author's rewriting of history. The purchase was a smooth, seamless operation and the book received before expected.
