I think the book does a decent job talking about the difficulty of recycling plastics, although that could have been better developed, and the importance of reusing plastics. But I think the book missed an excellent opportunity to praise plastics as one of the two best advances in human health of the 20th century (the other being refrigeration). Like sterile medications? Thank plastics.
