I love these board book series. They are my go-to gift for every baby shower/welcome baby gift. It’s a quality board book with thick, sturdy pages and lots of great colors. I appreciate that the edges are rounded. And covers a wide range of great highlights of DC.

My daughter LOVES it. Loves it so much that we read it over and over and over again. On that level, I am extremely happy and it was totally worth the purchase.

But it is a TERRIBLE representation of Washington, DC. The book about Pittsburgh (where my wife is from) had such great representation of the city. The sights were distinctly and absolutely identifiable as Pittsburgh. I'm a native Washingtonian, and they couldn't have included the Capital Building? They couldn't have shown the carousel on the Mall? How are "Reporters sharing the news with the world" a unique character of DC? And while I realize there may be some controversy about including our football team, maybe DC United or the Washington Capitals? How do I demonstrate to my daughter that DC is a great city when the illustrations show tourists and their bare feet?

Cute book! We bought this for my 3 year old as we were preparing to move to DC. It was very age appropriate and nice for him to point out the places he knew- and the places he still had to visit! We have quite a few of these "Good Night Wherever" books from places we have visited and we love them all! Such wonderful little books!!

I bought this book for my niece when she was 1 year old, and she absolutely loves it! I live in Washington DC, and she lives in California, so I really wanted her to have an idea early on about where I live and where she will one day come visit me. I have since bought several copies of this book which I keep on hand for baby showers and young birthdays. It's rare to find books for young children that tell them about geography and historical places, so this series has been a real gem of a find.

I love this book series so much -- I collect them for my daughter as we travel to different states. My only complaint would be that the book came packaged in a padded envelope and was a little dented in the bottom corner upon arrival.

This book caught my eye because Goodnight Moon was one of my favorites growing up. While very different, I still appreciate it! I first saw it in a DC museum, and was glad to find it here on Amazon. It's a small little board book that fits well into purses, car pockets and such. A great review of DC for those who know it well or are just learning about it.

Great boardbook for a baby/toddler. The price was cheaper then buying it in the store and made a great gift.
I give this little book every time a friend or family member has a baby. I live in DC and it's a nice memento (and I harbor ideas that it will entice parents to take the little ones on a trip to visit us!). Simple little board book.
