My only comment about this book is that if your child believes in Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy -- do not let your child read this book. I was horrified as my son was reading along to find a paragraph about the fact that there is no Santa and there is no Tooth Fairy. If they upped the aged level, or took out that paragraph, the book would be excellent.
This book is not family friendly. Be aware of your audience before purchasing this book, it is not appropriate for children.
