Excellent commentary. Great details about historical and cultural information. This was recommended to me and I agree - it is good! Additionally, the person who sent it was right on time. I'm happy.

Great to have a paperless way to look something up. Fast and clearly stated. Whis I had more time to study!

As a current seminary student as well as a Berean with twenty five years of Bible study under my belt, using both the book and electronic formats, I recommend this set of commentaries without hesitation.

The Tyndale commentaries are not only well established as being among the best for their concise, quality content, but having them in electronic format really is better and I don't mean just convenient. Yes, it is more ecologically sound, but the ability to index every word and cross reference to other books in your library is an incredible time saver.

The Tyndale commentaries stand up to other, more expensive ones with no apologies necessary. The writers are some of the best theologians of modern time, picked to write each book based on their extensive knowledge of its subject matter. If you are a teacher, seminary student or pastor (or if you have Berean qualities in your studies), this is a set of commentaries you should have in your library. In the book Commentary and Reference Survey: A Comprehensive Guide to Biblical and Theological Resources by John Glynn, the Tyndale commentaries routinely are chosen to be among the best. You will not be disappointed with choosing this set for your studies.

Note: You will see at the bottom of the product image a small red and white logo. This means that it integrates with Libronix or Logos Bible Software. Having books in electronic format allows for complete indexing of content. Further, it allows for cross referencing with all other electronic books you have in your electronic library. Being able to jump from one source to the other without having to go to the bookshelves is a Godsend. Since commentaries are seldom used as a singular source and you will be researching dictionaries, lexicons and encyclopedias, the mouse over preview of what else is available is a fantastic time saver. If you do not have Logos Bible Software, you should seriously consider it. Some may disagree as it is rather pricey, but you won't find any other software that provides the features or variety of texts.
