Paradigms and Principal Parts for the Greek New Testament. In this book, Laurence Vance takes the wraps off much of the mystery surrounding the many forms that Greek verbs undergo while donating meaning to a literary text. Greek Paradigm Handbook: Reference Guide and Memorization Tool. Vance identifies many of these to put an end to agonizing frustration in connection with clarification of verb forms, especially those of the so-called irregular kind.

I wouldn't want to pay $30 for this! But if you can get a used one for $5 or a little more, it's great. The small size is a huge advantage since you can carry it around and read it while you're waiting in the doctor's office, for instance, instead of reading National Geographic or Modern Phlebotomy. All the pp of verbs >9 occurrences in NT, every conceivable form of "luo", lots of athematic verbs, all forms of numerals.

Technically, this is what you would expect in the appendix or the back of a great grammar. Exhaustive. My cover different than what is pictured on Amazon. Save $ and buy used.

This is a wonderful tool for studying Biblical Greek. Its packed with paradigms of verbs and their tenses, nouns, adjectives, definite article, numerals, and much more!!! This paper back is only 54 pages, so light and portable with such loads of useful information!

This book has no more information than every beginning grammar has at the back. It is a thin volume of 50 pages and the price is outrageous. Not what you are looking for. Maybe in 1934 there was a need for this.

This Greek paradigm book is exactly what I needed and looks good too. I recommend it to those who know some Greek already.

Recommended by my Greek Professor. A little book packed full of variant learning schemes. A must for the serious original language digger.

When Dr. Bowne was my first year Greek professor he stressed to us over and over the value of constant review in learning a language. Now that he has retired, his volume has been indispensable to me in being able to do that. It is very easy to use and find the desired paradigm. Dr. Bowne certainly achieved his purpose of having one compact reference work where any key paradigm can be found.
There are a few others out there - metzger is great if you want the vocab part of it, but this can't be beat for the size and clarity of it. I took Greek from Dr. Bowne, and he was a great teacher as well - this is extremely helpful for those of us who are forgetfull, and is a great source for all the 'important stuff' any serious student of Greek should have memorized. A must have for the Biblical Greek student.
