I had to purchase this book for a class. I would not purchase it if it was not for a class. All the chapter are an aggregate of Greenleaf's writings or lectures. If you want to learn about Servant Leadership, eventually you will but you will also, discover some of Greenleaf's' philosophy and beliefs about the world. I found the theories of Greenleaf too esoteric for me, above my pay grade.. The new definitions, like, Seeker, I believe were created so Greenleaf could have new definition in order to distinguish his theories as being different. I was not impressed and confused by the meanings of many of the chapters. I could not read the whole book!
