The chapters on relaxation are especially helpful, explaining active and passive relaxation styles, and how they can be used in the stressful moment or as a regular practice to help with overall stress. As I read it, I was impressed with the amount of practical applications which were presented in it. Usually, self-help books are very theoretical.

Like all good programs they are only as good as the amount of energy that you put into the program. This book has a lot of requirements "daily-exercises" that teach you how and give you information on how to reduce anxiety and stress. It works, but you have to stay with it it is a 21 day program and you have to dedicate the time and resources of your self to get it done. It will work and it will help. Anxiety is a killer but this book helps you to tame it!

I was recently given a copy of Stress Relief for Life by Dr. Mike Ronsisvalle. As I read it, I was impressed with the amount of practical applications which were presented in it. Usually, self-help books are very theoretical. Not this one. Dr. Mike gives the reader a clear path to relieve the stresses which are common to us all. Nothing hard to understand here, but real issues which are not for the timid, faint-hearted or people who are content with the status quo. Even though this type of internal examination is challenging, the results are worth the effort. I highly recommend this book for people we are ready to get the relief from stress for which they long.
