I was strikingly surprised by how much I needed to read this book. Often in an attempt to present the best of ourselves to the world, we hide the pain and the struggle in the valley on our way to the mountain high. Silver to Gold carefully and captivatingly weaves a story that we can all identify with - chasing after the best that God has for us and never settling for less. The characters in this short story reflect the process of this journey. In every character, I identified with the pain, the struggle, and the bravery to contend for the gold in our life. Silver to Gold reminded me of the truth that fighting for your destiny is never easy, but it is always worth it. Why settle for silver when you were called to gold?

The little messages throughout Silver to Gold cut into the hidden parts of my heart and reminded me where I had forgotten to take courage and press onward into my destiny. I would recommend this book to any believer who has set their heart to pursue the vibrant life that Jesus has called them to. There is always more for you in Jesus, and the Holy Spirit can use this book to remind the hidden parts of your heart that He still desires the very best for you, if you're willing to go with Him.

Knowing Jen to be a woman hungry after the best that Papa has for her, she was able to write with inspiration and authority. Silver to Gold is more than an allegory, it is a testimony of the pursuit she has went on to claim her inheiritance. To realize that we do have a promise land, better, richer and more abundant than we could ever expect is the beginning of the journey. The inheiritance is what makes the long-suffering, endurance and unwavering more than worth it. Be inspired to push farther and speak louder to the mountains ahead to get out of the way so that you can grasp the fullness of the King’s dreams for you.

Silver to Gold is inspiring as it leads your heart to not settle for the ordinary. As you read this novel your heart becomes stirred to pursue more of God. You will fall in love with each character and will find parts of yourself in each one. Seeing them in the light of the storyline in Silver to Gold, it’s easier to identify them in your own life and look out for them in the future so it can give you strength to push through and don’t give up when it gets tough.

I was thoroughly inspired by the storyline and felt a new sense of determination, passion, and resilience come over me when I finished the book. I loved the songs paired with the book as well and felt they added a deepness to the story. I felt like I could picture myself as different characters while reading the book, which was encouraging and relatable. I am SO inspired to start pursuing my dreams and ultimate destiny after reading this and have a new establishment of hope to get there.

The story truely tied me. There is such a beauty in it. Silver to Gold shows that positive and negative emotions are REAL during the pursuit of your dreams. Sometimes I had tears in my eyes because I could identify with thoughts and feelings.
I loved the poems although I never used to like poems at all. After having finished this easy and fluent read I started maybe for the first time of my life to really dream, think about what my hearts desires or the things I want to reach in life are.
It stirred my heart with new passion, new perspective and totally encouraged me to think BIG and to give everything for an adventurous life with fulfilled dreams.

Great read!

This book is an allegory about living up to your true potential. It is relatively short, so can be read over a weekend. I identified with the characters. Reminded somewhat of The Alchemist. I'm looking forward to a part 2!
