I really liked the first two books in this series but didn't care much for this book. The fact that Nora lived in a brothel for awhile just did not set well with me. Given that this is Christian fiction I would have thought that at least the character of Lili would have shown remorse for that lifestyle. I also did not care for the ending. Caution - end reveal here. Nora's choices were accept living the theater life or Luc would forget about her - really? If Luc loved her perhaps he should have offered to try a different line of work so that they could both be happy. Just my opinion.

This was a sweet story and tied wonderfully back to the first books in the series. I learned more about sod houses than I knew before. Nora's journey from the home of an abusive father to those who represented our Heavenly Father made for captivated reading. Also, going between the 19th century and present day was wonderful, one researching the past and the other living it.

I loved the way book three of this series was able to stand alone but drew the other two books into the story. Stephanie Grace Whitson weaves an intriguing story from a tiny detail. Have we not all wondered at the odd keepsakes that are found in the belongings of those who have gone on before us?This is a page turner and will keep you interested until the end, when you will wish to immerse yourself into a book four. In other words, you will want to read more of her work.

What a wonderful story. The story was well written and the author did an excellent job of weaving the lives of her characters throughout the book. There were questions to ask that were answered in time. This book is deserving of a 10 STAR RATING because this author has become one of my favorites over night.

I have really enjoyed reading about Nora Odell. She made the best out of bad situations. I enjoyed her relationship with Grayson or is that his real name? There is a mystery there. I enjoyed the side story about Reagon and Noah. It was good to revisit the characters in the other book. Going back to Millersburg was a great story in its self.

The series was a good read. I enjoyed it. The only thing I did not like is the tease at the end saying there was more on Pinterest. Not all people are on these social sites. If your going to sell a book, put the whole thing in it.
loved all 3 books. The history is great too. I only wish in the first book that Sarah could have somehow interconnected w with her baby sister. I was hoping that was Nellie
