Yet as Rod Rosenbladt shows in this booklet, there are numerous evidences that support the centrality and exclusivity of Christ. He draws on these here to affirm that even in the face of sophisticated theological attacks, God's Word-and Christ's unique claims-still hold true.

Yet as Rod Rosenbladt shows in this booklet, there are numerous evidences that support the centrality and exclusivity of Christ. In defending solus Christus Christians need not disregard the noble words or deeds of unbelievers throughout history.

Listeners of the White Horse Inn program will be familiar with Dr. Rod Rosenbladt and his straightforward, down-to-earth manner of communicating the Lutheran perspective on matters theological. In this short book, he succinctly makes a sound defense of the Reformation doctrine of Solus Christus (. the titular "Christ Alone"). I recommend this book to anyone looking for an explanation of and biblical support for this essential doctrine.

In each section Boice brings Jesus’ words to bear on life today.

Some sections of the Bible give us grand theology. Some move us to grateful responses to God. But the parables break through mere words and make us ask whether there has indeed been any real difference in our lives. In this beloved classic, James Boice takes us systematically through the parables of Jesus, grouping them into five categories: parables of the kingdom, salvation, wisdom and folly, the Christian life, and judgment. In each section Boice brings Jesus’ words to bear on life today.

James Montgomery Boice On a personal level this Christ-centered priority was also true for James Boice. The doctrines of grace stand or fall together, and together they point to one central truth: salvation is all of grace because it is all of God; and because it is all of God, it is all for His glory. Whether you can see it or not - and often we cannot - everything is being used of God for your good as well as the good of others. On a personal level this Christ-centered priority was also true for James Boice. While Boice was a Calvinist through and through, his passion was for the person and work of Jesus Christ, and his labor was offered in personal service to his living and reigning Lord and Savior.

In our postmodern, pluralistic world, there are plenty of genuinely spiritual people who consider Christ a way to heaven, or even their way to heaven, but who refuse to acknowledge Him as the one and only way for everyone. In their estimation, anyone who stresses an exclusive, saving faith in Jesus Christ is at the least intolerant and, at worst, completely ignorant. Yet as Rod Rosenbladt shows in this booklet, there are numerous evidences that support the centrality and exclusivity of Christ. He draws on these here to affirm that even in the face of sophisticated theological attacks, God's Word--and Christ's unique claims--still hold true.

In defending solus Christus Christians need not disregard the noble words or deeds of unbelievers throughout history. But there is One whose words and works stand far above all others, and whose entire existence proved His exclusive claims. And He deserves not only our worship, but our witness before a lost world.

A must read if say you are a believer in Jesus. Learn why many say it's Jesus +. Some just want to do, not to just believe. Jesus Saves? But I keep myself saved? Read Christ Alone.
Jesus doesn't need your help to save you.

This book reminds us it's all about Him, not all about us. He gets the glory for all He does, FOR US! It's not about our betterment and our focus on how we're doing, for Him. If Christ can save us He can and will sanctify us, gradually, when He becomes our focus. The Holy Spirit convicts us in our behavior. If we love Him, we will listen and follow. Abide in Christ Alone! His peace, joy and hope is our reward, no matter what our circumstances.

Short and succinct presentation of this vital reformation doctrine. As a Lutheran pastor, I was happy to be reminded that I am to preach and teach this over and over again. It's simple but vital in our age of post modern relativism.

I didn't receive the second one I bought. The first one was wonderful testimony of God's love and forgiveness for us, I loved it and wanted to buy more so I could give it to others and my family.

I have spent years struggling to comprehend my shortcomings in morality in regards to my faith. This short book has removed such a burden from my heart that I feel like a new believer again!
This book was an excellent read. As a pastor continually reminded of the problem of American Christianity and revivalism it energized me again in my calling. Stop going to another gospel and learn what it means to be in Christ Alone. Good job Rod Rosenbladt
