Inuyasha Vol. 7 book. Rumiko Takahashi is one of the wealthiest women in Japan. The manga she creates (and its anime adaptations) are very popular in the United States and Europe where they have been released as both manga and anime in English translation.

The spotlight on Rumiko Takahashi's career began in 1978 when she won an honorable mention in Shogakukan's annual New Comic Artist Contest for Those Selfish Aliens. Later that same year, her boy-meets-alien comedy series, Urusei Yatsura, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. This phenomenally successful manga series was adapted into anime format and spawned a TV series and half a dozen theatrical-release movies, all incredibly popular in their own right.

Rumiko takahashi has done it again! The book was in great condition having been at goodwill and the pages within are perfect . It's by Rumiko Takahashi, and I consider Maison Ikkoku a work of genius. There is so much here to love. So why don't I love it?

This review is of the copy I got, not the content of the story. The description was posted as used-good. It said nothing about the vast amount of water damage, yellow pages and stamps and stickers covering the book. I was not happy with my purchase and was not able to contact the seller. Be very careful of buying this manga as it is out of print and most copies will be in the same condition.

The story, however, was great. I was happy with the way it ended, even though it did leave a little more to be desired. But all in all, she did a great job of wrapping up the series. For those of you who don't know, there was an additional chapter written but not printed as an epilogue. It takes place a few years after kagome returns and you can find it online. One manga is a good source to read anime online if it helps :)

Even though I've already written a review for Inu-Yasha, volume 5 was so great that I had to write another one! In this volume, we learn a lot more about Inu-Yasha personally. The first story arc deals with a little problem of Inu-Yasha's that occurs at every new moon ^_^;. I don't want to give it away, but I will say that his gentler, more sensitive nature is revealed. In the second story line we learn a lot more about Inu-Yasha's *real* relationship with Kikyo.
This book was fantastic. Takahashi really knows how to tug at your heart strings. She's been called the "Queen of Romantic Comedy," but my name for her is the "Jane Austen of manga." Like Jane Austen, she writes tender love stories that involve you to the very end. I can't reccommend this manga highly enough. The only problem is how long it take for the next volume to come out! Volume five ended in a cliffhanger, and I can't wait to find out what happens.

Having read roughly half the series, I decided to go against my usual policy and go straight for the ending. In my experience, Takahashi Rumiko series endings somehow usually fall a little flat for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by Inuyasha. I will say, however, that although I did not read the 18 or so volumes between the end of my collection and the final volume, I did not really miss much and the last chapters made perfect sense. Not perfect, but good enough to give me a few sniffles. Recommended!

I bought Inuyasha volumes 1 through 6 for my daughter. She enjoys the stories, but the covers fell off volumes 2 and 5 the first time she opened them. The leaves appear to be adequately bound, but it looks like there is no glue holding the covers on.

This series was full of heart, full of mystery, full of action and adventure. The anime is wonderfully written and the soundtrack is superb. The manga is powerful. It contains alot of things the anime wasnt able to give you. There is alot more detail and alot more character elements in the manga. That being said every single piece of this wonderful series is worth buying and Amazon offers one of the best prices youll find to collect it without going bankrupt.
