There are fifteen patterns per the title. These are for small amigurumi which can be altered with embroidery, embellishments, yarn, and color choices. There are several pages of suggestions for creating them along with how to make a few shapes. Currently, I am not interested in designing. Then, the rest of the book is fleshed out with photos of the creations of online designers, sellers and bloggers. If the price per usable pattern is right, then, this is a good book. Keep in mind that most of the book is fluff and the directions might be lacking. Although, I haven't actually made any yet. I'd suggest viewing the book in the library first or, if ordering, match expectations to reality.

I hesitated about ordering after reading the previous review. She was exactly right in her opinion. The toys look pretty simple and almost ugly and the yarns are very heavy compared to the other books I own on this topic. But the information on designing your own is not available elsewhere and makes the book worthwhile as does the gallery of other peoples' toys available online. Instructions are given in words and in charts using x's as in the Japanese books. Not a first purchase for this topic.

I haven't had a chance to actually make one but it is what I have been looking for. I saw some a while back and had trouble finding patterns.

Truly wasn't all that thrilled with this book. It's ok, but if I had seen better pics and reviews I wouldn't have bought it.

I expected more from this pattern book by Annie Obaachan. The animals are not as cute as in her prior book of patterns. Had I a chance to review the book before purchasing, I would not have chosen this one to buy.
Daron
CUTE, can't wait to try them out

Decent amount of patterns for the price. Purchased for my wife for a Christmas present she enjoyed it a lot.
Product was as shown. This book was exactly what I was looking for. Very happy. I will be using this for plenty of projects in the future.
