Great book. I’ve been knitting since I was 9 and it’s hard for me to be impressed by a knitting book but this book is really good.

I bought this book after seeing lots of recommendations for it. I've tried a couple of the squares already from scrap wool and they look good. I can see more squares ahead, although I don't have an end product in view yet.

There are heaps of different projects from tiny, like mug rugs to larger blankets. I especially like the bunting and I'm planning on the Christmas trees this year for my door. THe baby bees are very cute for a mobile.

I prefer to knit lace from a chart but there are none here. I may well chart some of the squares. However, that said, the written patterns are well set out and easy to follow and the photos show the finished object clearly.

I am a beginner knitter. This book has many ideas and seemingly easy projects to start working on. My challenge now is to find the correct yarn (I live in hot and humid Singapore with very limited yarn shops and definitely not the type that sells worsted or heavy wool) and TIME to knit all the cutesy stuff. Looking forward to starting some cosies and socks. At the moment, I'm working on a baby blanket

Thou the patterns in it are nice, thou not anything ground-breaking. It is a good book if you are just starting with motifs, thou the projects in this book leave something to be desired.

I like this book okay enough. Some of the patterns are written wrong, especially if you're a new knitter. The 2x2 rib stitch instructions for inatance, if you don't know how to rib stitch, it'll instruct you to make the incorrect pattern. Nice for getting ideas though. Nothing spectacular.

Totally love the book. As a new knitter I can develope new techniques, create nice projects, give them as gifts, & teach my daughters the craft as well.
