Before going to the baker’s, their mother warns them to avoid Mr. McGregor’s garden, because their father had an accident there and ended up in a pie. However, after she leaves, the naughty Peter immediately squeezes under the garden gate to gorge on Mr. McGregor’s vegetables, while the others obediently go up the lane to pick blackberries.

If you love rabbits, or have a house bunny, you need to read this book. Each chapter is written by a different bunny owner, and though a couple chapters weren't to my taste (owner had written imaginary conversations for her bunnies) the majority of the book was moving and informative.

This fasinating book shows and educates those who basically do not own or realize that the rabbit makes a great household pet just like the dog or cat. Each story chronicals actual experiences of the close relationship between humans and their rabbits. It will bring you both joy and sadness as you experience the emotions shared by rabbit owners and will leave you with a better understanding of an animal that has been much maligned and mistreated by a non rabbit educated society.

My family loves bunnies. We had a lot of bunnies in the house when I was in grade school. A lot.

This book feels like a book from a group of people that takes liking bunnies just a little "too far." Some of the stories reminded me of "furries" from a gaming convention.

Not all books about rabbits take things too far.

My Dad recently got a book, Stories Rabbits Tell, and it was pretty good. That book was scientific, but you could still tell that the authors like rabbits.
