Publisher: Mathematical Association of America. Publication Date: 2004. The project organized a series of workshops. The idea was that each workshop would be "a dialogue between representatives of the discipline under consideration, with mathematicians present merely to listen to the discussions and to provide information on current curriculum trends in mathematics. About 30 people were invited to each of these workshops, and each workshop produced a written report. These reports are collected in Curriculum Foundations Project: Voices of the Partner Disciplines.
Voices of the Partner Disciplines CRAFTY’s Curriculum Foundations Project. Curriculum Foundations Project A series of 11 workshops with leading educators from 17 quantitative disciplines to inform the mathematics community of the current mathematical needs of each discipline.

Curriculum Foundations Project: Voices of the Partner Disciplines. Washington, DC: Mathematical Association of America. Disrupting ourselves. Our adaptation of Biggs and Collis' (1982) Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome illustrates the stages of interdisciplinary knowledge integration and explains corresponding patterns of learners' intellectual functioning, from acquisition of single-subject information to transfer of interdisciplinary knowledge to other topics, issues, or problems.

Curriculum Foundations Project CRAFTY held a series of workshops with leading educators from 17 quantitative disciplines to inform the mathematics community of the current mathematical needs of each discipline. What the Physicists Said, Students need conceptual understanding first, and some comfort in using basic skills; then a deeper approach and more sophisticated skills become meaningful. 19 Curriculum Foundations Project The discussions and recommendations of virtually every other discipline focused on the mathematics below calculus.
