I've been focusing on trying to improve my skills in teaching reading this summer. This book is written in straight-forward language, and has excellent photos, document samples, and templates. I found the chapter "Setting Up and Managing Your Classroom for Guided Reading" very helpful. I also liked the assessment and evaluation chapter. The rest of the book is excellent; those just happen to be the most helpful chapters to me.
