This a wonderful book authored by a very respected ship modeler/researcher. Unfortunately she left us too soon.If you are a historian, ship modeler or both you should find the text and drawings within to address your needs. This series "The Anatomy of a Ship......" has been in print for some time but remains relevant as a reference. The drafts are excellent and the tables are as well. I not entirely sure, but this reference may be out of print so used and new copies are starting to carry a premium price.

Portia Takajian's research and knowledge of ship design are a great aid in understanding the way this ship functioned. The details in this book are fantastic, and well presented. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in ships of the early Federal Navy.
