As a stroke survivor I can relate to what this author has written. The process never ends. We all (stroke survivors) share a unique bond in that we have shared similar experiences and have survived to go on to recover as best we could. The desire and determination goes on.

I had a stroke years ago and I could relate totally to his descriptions. It felt good to hear someone else relating to what I was feeling during my stroke. I always thought I was either imaginating or 'blowing out of portion' things that happened to me but his book showed me that what I thought or felt really did happened!

Live or Die: A Stroke of Good Luck is a quick and enjoyable read, especially because of its sincerity. Today, so many authors seem to be self-indulgent, but Burns comes off as honest and fully committed to his words. His story is amazing, and it's very cool that this is his first book written at 70+ years old. His words are inspiring. I look foward to the next installment.
