Snowdonia Walking and Climbing, Bethesda, Gwynedd. It is certainly forecast to be wet and windy, forecast is 50 mph plus at 900m. This would make for challenging conditions. BUT - you can still get out for a nice walk. Maybe choose a lower level route or go with the plan of turning round if it is too rough. I fell into a steady rhythm, walking at a pace I knew I could maintain all day if I had to, no matter what the terrain. As I walked I thought about the night before, how the story had taken me in the pub, and about the story the old man had told me in return. He told it well, but without theatre, almost relating a history rather than an imaginary tale. Terry Fletcher has been walking and climbing in Snowdonia for almost 50 years since first visiting the Llanberis Pass as an awestruck teenage rock climber.
