Born into a Protestant family in 1907, she was one of the first French women to study theology. This is a very interesting introduction and history on the development of the Jesus prayer and its practical use.
Last but not least: the Meditation on the Jesus prayer at the end of the book by Bishop Kallistos Ware makes the book's worth even more.
