Great book with difficult puzzles! My boyfriend and I love solving crossword puzzles together and we enjoyed these more "modern" ones. A lot of crossword books are older and reference TV shows and movies that have been a long time out of pop culture... those clues can be near impossible for a couple 20-somethings to solve without Google. This book is current and diverse in the clues without being try-hard. Also has quite a few "vocabulary" words in addition to the "hip" stuff, which as a former SAT all-star, I appreciate the chance to dust off. The only thing I don't like is I wish the book was larger or had spiral binding. It's hard to collaborate on these puzzles because someone has to hold the book open.

One of my favorite crossword books, I've bought it 3x for myself and twice for others. Natan Last does a great job making it interesting for people younger than the baby boomer generation. Challenging without being maddening - if you know of the answer you won't often be asking yourself, "Who the ++++ would figure that clue out‽"

This is my most favorite collection of crossword puzzles! It's got a hodgepodge of pop culture, my favorite! The only thing that I don't like about it is that the author didn't create more!

If you aren't familiar with pop culture, you may not enjoy this set of crosswords.

This was the second time I purchased this book (I couldn't find my first copy), and I was happy to.

I laughed out loud when I figured out that the answer to one of the puzzles was "Dubstep." If you're not up on current pop culture, this is not the puzzle book for you. I was surprised at how recent some of the references were, but that's way better than "The Thin Man" references that appear in every other crossword puzzle book. Good to know that people are making puzzles for people other than just my grandma. Very enjoyable, wish there was a second edition.

A lot of reference to Sponge Bob, rap artists, things we in our late 40's don't get or care to get. We're doing the ones we can, then will pass on to our 21 year old to complete the rest.

I would not recommend this for the Babyboomer gens.

Great crosswords; author has a wonderful sense of humor and a nice style. It is definitely hip to be square :)
It's fantastic! It got to my house very quickly and I have not been able to stop doing crosswords. It's a good, portable size, and the clues are super fun and topical.
