Bindings
were no good, most of the glue that holds the book together was worn away, I know that it was a USED book, but how are you suppose to flip pages when all you can think about are the pages coming out

I own the 6th edition of this book and while it offers a comprehensive detailing of the American legal system, many of its examples are very old and it contains MANY typos. Overall, it gets the job done for a basic Criminal Justice class but the lack of attention in the editing process makes it hard to take it seriously. Also it can be very dry at times and a little disjointed as it is a compilation of articles and excerpts and not a cohesive enclosed book.
