My 2nd grade daughter loves this series! This book is great. So good, in fact, it's worth it to me to hold on to it for my younger kids to read when they are old enough.

My nephew asked for these books for his birthday, and this book was in perfect condition. He loved it. Thanks!

Seriously! Most books have their dull/quiet moments. Not this book! It is action packed from the very beginning. To some of us adults that might make it a little unbelievable but to our twelve year old it was total 'edge of the seat' stuff and we both enjoyed it together.

In this, the third book in the series, Sam Fox is on vacation on Utopia Island, close to the Great Barrier Reef. With a broken leg in a cast and a crutch, he is still managing to explore the reef along with a Japanese boy named Michi. Although there is a language barrier both of them know the name Nemo from the movie so when they are watching a pair of clown fish they fail to see the freak wave coming in. Wham!

What in the world do spaghetti and meatballs have to do with the sea? You'll find out soon enough! Booss! Booss!

This is the beginning of one adrenaline filled adventure with both boys stuck out to sea for many hours. When they finally make their way to land, it is not the island they thought it was. Why are the two men on the island so unfriendly? Who is Bruce? How does Doris "save their bacon"?

This is a well written chapter book for youngsters to read. Our twelve and eight year olds both enjoyed it but the twelve year was more "involved" and excited to see what was going to happen next. Yes the adventure is dangerous but the writing is clean so you can let your child read this without worrying. The ending is quite the surprise!

Such a shame these books are already out of print and not available on the Kindle.
