No, and if I knew I couldn’t tell you. There’s nothing stopping you from demanding to see the contract, though. Stone went into the pro shop, found the reservation book and led Dino to a vacant court. They hit balls for a few minutes, then Chuck finished with his student and joined them. You need more backswing in your serve, he said to Stone. You could pick up another ten miles an hour of ball speed.

In this action-packed thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Stuart Woods, Stone Barrington is on the hunt for a man who doesn’t want to be found in Key West...Dumped by his glamorous Russian girlfriend during dinner at Elaine’s and running low on cash, Stone Barrington is not having a good week. So his luck seems to be improving when he’s hired to locate the missing son of a very wealthy man—lucky because the job pays well, and because the son seems to be hiding in the tropical paradise of Key West. But when Stone and his sometime running buddy Dino Bacchetti arrive in the sunny Keys, it appears that someone has been lying in wait. Stone very nearly loses his life after being blindsided at a local bar, and he realizes that the missing son he’s been hired to track may have good reason for not wanting to be found. Suddenly Key West is looking less like Margaritaville and more like the mean streets of New York...

This novel is ok. However, I swore off Stuart Woods' books due to his arrogant "to the reader" warning in all his books but I bought the kindle edition of this one very inexpensively so figured I wasn't adding to his coffers too much. I don't care for the over the top cartoonish sex romps in all Woods' books and this one, unfortunately, is no exception. Not sure why Mr. Woods feels obligated to include these except that his main character appears as arrogant towards women as he himself is towards his readers!

I enjoy the series of Stone Barrington; however, beginning to get the same message over and over again of his sexual encounters...really?? As a rule they do not add to the story (except in this instance.)

I have read many of Mr Woods novels and have never been disappointed. This book was no exception, I thought it was an excellent adventure and a great read. Thank you, your books have given me and a lot of readers a lot of enjoyment through the years. I have passed a lot of your books along to others so that they could also enjoy a great storyteller.

This was an excellent read. I couldn't stop turning pages. Stone's and Dino's escapades always make for enjoyable reading. I can't wait to read another book involving these characters.

I loved it. From start to finish I enjoyed the twists and turns. Eating out is my favorite way of life and as Woods characters eat out enough to pacify a herd of elephants...I feel a kinship to all of them. I've enjoyed every Woods novel and expect to enjoy many more.

Enjoyable story and good characters but the ending felt like Woods ran out of time and wanted to finish it up. There was no real climax or 'aha' moment. A bit of a letdown.

Just a good story. Enjoy reading about life in Key West. I read to be entertained and this book was entertaining. Nothing too complicated. I think this was one of the better Stone Barrington books. I will buy another soon..
Stone and dino linger in key west to find a young man to sign simple business papers, only they don't find him easily. Big boats beautiful women, help from local cops all add up to a complicated search. Surprises at every turn.
