These are timeless stories and mostly short enough to enjoy quickly. Must admit I skip over the commentary as it is too much.

I like it just fine.

I thought volume one and two would have the stories of ali baba and sinbad, but they didn't. This is still a good read its just not what I had expected. The second volume is filled mostly with the story of King Omar ben Ennuman, Sherkan and his siblings.

Nostalgic for me.
Volume 2 did not have the specific stories of Aladdin and the Magic Carpet, or Alibaba and the 40 thieves. both were in my actual book The Thousand and One Nights (Harvard Classics). Volume one was sufficient and volume 2 was tedious, so i skipped most of the pages in volume 2.
