The ability to capture your audience with a story is a gift, but also an art that anyone can learn to some degree. Sara Cone Bryant gives valuable tips in storytelling, like "believe in your story." Every child should be exposed to these classic stories: they would both enjoy and benefit from them! Great stories; very hard to put down this book!

This was a great Kindle download to read to my five year old before we went away for the weekend. Mostly classic folktales and fairy tales, but most of which she had not yet heard. Of course her favorites will always be the ones that she has heard dozens of times, but I'm slowly introducing her to the others (to expand her horizons :)

This was a favourite book of my sisters more than 50 years ago. We had forgotten the name of the book and so were quite excited to find this volume. Of historical value.

Really cool early 20th century writing style. There are some great tips on story telling. This skill has been lost due to TV and internet video. Recommended if you tell stories to anyone, children or adult.
Many stories that I just wasn't interested in. A lot of searching for a story I could relate to children.
