Classic King! The best! Blew me away back in the day!

I think this is the best of the Stephen King short story collections that I have read. His admiration for H.P. Lovecraft clearly shines through the first story, which I thought was terrific. I don't think that he was able to maintain the very high standard set by that first story, though there are certainly a number of other good stories in this collection.
