Renee Walker was an FBI special agent from the Washington Field Office. Larry called Renee and informed her that a Starkwood mercenary had escaped the compound with a canister of the pathogen killing two agents. She was involved in investigating the technology thefts prior to Day 7 and was an integral agent in bringing down the threats that arose on Day 7. Upon meeting Jack Bauer she was horrified at his willingness to do whatever was necessary to follow a lead. He told Renee and Janis to track the vehicle he stole and send back-up units at his location. When Agent Park arrived at the scene and found Larry dead, he called Renee and told her about it.

The best book about the blood-drenched, scream-inducing, golden era of US independent horror cinema imaginable. By coincidence, several of the offbeat flicks covered in this book I happened to already own in one format or other so it was a rewarding, eye-opening experience to pour through the wealth of obscure details behind these oddball films which I have enjoyed for so many years.

So poor written I started marking up my copy in pencil. Content is good, but I
could not tolerate the typos and wrongly-used words and lack of hyphens, among
other complaints.

Hard to find book on the "DARK" side of everyones favorite teenage sleuth. Full of great insights on clues, payoffs and mistakes. A must for ND fans.

Who would think of going back and applying moral and/or legal standards to fictional heroine NANCY DREW?

What a great idea, and a very enjoyable read.

Yes...where DID Nancy get a never-ending supply of cars, cash, and exotic vacations? And how did she manage to solve over 50 mysteries and still be 18? And I always wanted to do the monetary conversions, to see what it means in today's dollars that Nancy had $40 in her wallet in the 1930s.

I remember even as a child thinking it was just a bit fantastic that police chiefs would routinely kow-tow to a 16-year old girl, no matter WHO her famous father was.

I'm glad Ms. Walker wondered the same things, and put her musings in print, for Nancy fans everywhere.

I had so many good laughs, especially imagining how trying it must have been to live next door to Nancy, what with all the police cars, bomb scares, and strange characters lurking around.

I would love to see Ms. Walker give the same treatment to the original editions.
