William Gayley Simpson (1892 – 1991) was an American white nationalist activist and author associated with William Luther Pierce and the National Alliance. The oldest of three children, he was born July 23, 1892, in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He attended Lafayette College and graduated in 1912 with Phi Beta Kappa standing and as valedictorian of his class, proceeding to attend Union Theological Seminary, from which he graduated in 1915, magna cum laude.

MacDonald is buried in the Ranald MacDonald Cemetery, Ferry County, Washington. The grave is 18 miles northwest of Curlew Lake State Park on Mid Way Road and is a satellite of Curlew Lake State Park.

William Simpson is a Northern Irish comic artist. He started off working in British comics anthologies such as Warrior and 2000 AD, and has written for such comics as Batman, Judge Dredd, and Hellblazer. In the 2000s, his career turned towards working as a movie storyboard artist, on films such as Reign of Fire and City of Ember. Simpson is the leader Storyboard Artist for Game of Thrones.

William Simpson (28 October 1823 – 17 August 1899) was a Scottish artist, war artist and war correspondent. Born into poverty in Glasgow, Simpson went on to become one of the leading 'special artists' of his day, and sketched many scenes of war for the Illustrated London News. His early years were very difficult living in a house with an abusive and alcoholic father, and in 1834 he was sent to live with his grandmother in Perth.
