A nice twist on an amnesia story. Dana Hall not remembering events 16 years prior when her twin sister was murdered yet going back to her hometown to find answers provided twists and turns to an ending not seen coming right away. However, the "reconnaissance division" series didn't seem any different than a standard Colby Agency read to me. Spence (Colby investigator) went about gathering information and solving this case as all investigators have done in other Colby Agency books.

I have to say that first this book had some great aspects.

I liked that we got to hear from Victoria from the Colby agency but I found the love interest in the book to be disconnected someway. Still a nice read with a mystery surrounding it.

This book has lots of twists and turns to it.

A great fan of Debra Webb. Have read many of her books. Great story! I highly recommend her as an author!!!

I'll start with saying that I did like this book, but there were things about it that I didn't like.

I didn't feel the attraction between the two main characters. There wasn't much heat, sparks, or anything else that I like to experience when reading a romance novel.

Another thing that didn't sit well with me was the dual storyline involving Victoria. When I read a romance, I like for the whole book to focus on the couple involved. Subplots work well for full length novels unless they start to dominate the book. This was a category novel and the second storyline didn't seem to serve any purpose to me other than to up the word count.

The good thing about this book was that it flowed well all things considered and the "mystery" aspect of the book did keep me turning the pages.
