I enjoyed reading this book; however, I was disappointed that it didn't have the all the sisters together. I also feel like the ending was rushed. Then the page and boom another case solved. I would give this book 31/2 stars.

Excellent condition and clean.

This book was just, plain fun to read. It was as much a light-hearted who-done-it as a contemporary romance. Ms. Michael's wit and humor shine through her characters, and kept me smiling. It might be useful to read the first book in the series, "Dial M for Mischief", first, as the stories of the three sisters all go together.

Out of all the books in this series this one was the worst.. I would not recommend any in this series especially this book to anyone..

I am a fan of Kasey Michaels. I read the first book in this series and liked it well enough to find this second book.

There are three Sunshine sisters – there is Jade, she was working with their late father as a private investigator. Jolie is a movie star. Jessica is is a TV reporter who loves doing ambush interviews for her cable show.

This book focuses on Jessica.

The 3 sisters are trying to prove their father did not commit suicide nor did he murder a woman. He was a respected former policeman who was a straight shooter and would never have done the things which are being said of him.

He was working on a few cases when he died and the girls believe if they can solve those cases, they will understand what really happened to their father.

I would recommend that before you read this book, you start out with Dial M for Mischief, the first book in the series. It makes things much easier to follow.

In this book, Jessica and Matt, a homicide detective who knew her dad, start working together to find answers to questions.

Matt is a very honorable man who wants to help clear the name of a former cop he respected. And he is very attracted to Jessica. The lust nearly oozes off the pages, in a good way.

Jessica is an airhead who evidently has no respect for boundaries, the truth or other people. At times she puts her sister Jade in a difficult situation, she puts Matt's career in jeopardy and generally blunders through life doing what she darn well pleases. She has no evident concern for who may be adversely affected until after the fact.

I was not a fan of Jessica.

This is an interesting story. The plot is well developed and the twists and turns keep the reader interested. I am pretty sure I know the solution to a couple of the yet to be mysteries. The puzzles are involved enough to make any fan of mysteries want to find answers.

Character development is one of Ms Michaels' strong points. People are well rounded and generally interesting. The secondary characters in this book add to the story and help move things forward. I especially liked Ernesto.

If you like mysteries with romance thrown in this is a book you will enjoy. But, if you have a queasy feeling about Jessica, don't be surprised.
Crazy
Former Philadelphia cop turned private investigator Teddy Sunshine is found dead stunning his three adult children, Jolie, Jade and Jessica. However, even more shocking the police say he killed himself and murdered the wife of mayoral candidate Joshua Brainard. None of the three Sunshine sisters believe their father would commit suicide or a homicide; they agree to solve his cases because they feel one of them led to two murders.

Meanwhile TV reporter Jessica teams up with homicide detective Matt Denby who cannot believe his former mentor would commit a murder-suicide. As they fall in love their inquiry spin them into meeting the Beckets and a cursed emerald the Empress

The second Sunshine Girls romantic suspense (see DIAL M FOR MISCHIEF) is a terrific tale that attempts to bring the Michaels recent mythos into one universe with an apparent link to the Beckets of Romney Marsh regency fame. The story line is fast-paced and filled with intelligent often amusing bantering between the reporter and the cop. Although somewhat overloaded with dangling threads (the climax will be a packed gem), fans will appreciate the enjoyable middle caper.

"Mischief becomes her" is book 2 in the Sunshine girls series by the great Kasey Michaels.
This book continues where book 1 ended (so yes, you should read "Dial M for Mischief" definitely befor starting this one), Jolie and Sam are back together and the Sunshine girls are still fighting to clear their father's (Teddy) name. 3 more cold cases are left to solve and the girls are hoping to find the murderer of their father by doing it.
Book 2 concetrates on Jessica Sunshine and Matt Denby, who started fighting which each other right from the first moment they met each other. Jessica, a hot shot reporter, is willing to use every way to clear her dead fathers name. Matt, a homicide detective, is one of the few (outside the family) who believes that there is more to the story of Teddys apparent suicide and is willing to help the Sunshine family in his free time to solve the mystery. But he is not ok with the ways Jessica is going to solve the cases (posing like a prostitute, giving out private numbers over TV) and because they are attracted by each other (clearly against their wills) it's an ongoing fight between these two about who's right and who's having the upper hand.
The cases they are working on are really gripping and during the investigation they discover that the cases are associated with each other and that there are many dead ends they have to deal with. But at least they are able to solve the "Fishstrangler case".
Matt and Jessica are a great pair, they complete each other and although Matt is unsure if they have a future together because he is 11 years older and his first marriage ended in tragedy they don't give up when they realize that they have a chance for a happy end.
I can really recommend this book to all romance fans, it's funny, it's intense and the love stories are great. "Mischief becomes her" is a great second book in the Sunshine girls series and definitly makes me crave for "Mieschief 24/7" (with Jade and Court in the focus) which is published in April 2009.
So go and get yourself a copy and enjoy.
