Who says you must be young to find romance. Ray Siphard proves them wrong with THE COURTSHIP OF PEGGY MCCOY.
Peggy McCoy, who reached the rank of Commander before she retired from the Navy. Rear Admiral Charles T. Deering, also retired has been invited to take the helm of a new battleship.
His navigational skills are on the rusty side and he almost runs Peggy's sailboat "Free Spirit" down off the coast of Maine.
Commander McCoy does not take this breach of sea manners lightly and when she learns who was steering the ship at a launching ceremony she has a few things to say to the Admiral.
This story has romance, but it is also filled with the lore of the sea and sailing.
This is a delightful romance for seniors with all the trials and tribulations of one written for a younger crowd.

I very much enjoyed this light, fun and interesting book. The characters are good, the story is fun and it was a clean reading book. I liked that the characters were in their 50's and 60's + and not allot of books are written with that age bracket in mind. You'll like it I think.
