I am reading this book and find myself cringing with the physical description of the heroine. She is doll like no curves, looks like a child. Her stature and body build is like that of a prepubesent girl and therein lies the cringe factor.
The hero is turned on by this and the book goes to great lengths to reiterate her child like physical attributes.
I found this a major turn off.
Ive read LG's books before but never have i gotten the impression that the woman resembled more of a little girl than a full grown woman. This book was creepy to have a man be turned on by that. Ugh gross.

I expect the Lynne Graham "formula" when I read a Lynne Graham novel, and this is not any exception. But it's toned down a bit.

The Lynne Graham "formula" doesn't deviate too much. In short, it consists of a gorgeous, Latin (or Greek, or some other exotic nationality) hero who is sexually experienced and full of alpha-male arrogance. The heroine is usually shy, almost always sexually inexperienced (most typically a virgin). There's usually a "misunderstanding" phase where the hero is a big arrogant jerk and the heroine runs from him (or fights him), while secretly being in love with him. Things heat up and there's always, always very hot perfect sex. At the end things are all resolved and the hero and heroine reveal that they "always" loved each other. Blah blah blah.

Well this had that, but it toned down the hero's arrogant d----bag tendencies. He was confident and successful, and sexually experienced, but not so obnoxious about it. And he didn't treat the heroine too horribly either (tries to make things up to her). So in a way it was more tolerable to take in that respect.

I admired that Graham only used the term "pouting" once in reference to a female body part. And I thought I noticed a slight lessening of the word "stunning" in describing the hero's cheekbones. (If you read a lot of Graham, you will know *exactly* what I'm talking about!)

To sum it up, I enjoyed this story. Lynne Graham did very well, while still adhering to her formula (more or less).

I'm a Lynne Graham fan and have read most of her books. Although these kinds of books follow a formula, I enjoy the way the author writes them. No, I haven't been sent this as a copy to review, I bought it because I like these books.

This story is about Rosie who is a cleaner and who is studying part time so that she can go to university. She meets the H at offices that she has been hired to clean. Over a week she sees him every night and one night he rescues her after she is attacked by an ex-boyfriend of her old flatmate. One thing leads to another and in typical Alpha male style he takes her virginity and disappears during the night. A few weeks later when she discovers she is pregnant she goes to find him and discovers that he is a billionaire and not who he portrayed himself to be.

The h's grandfather (she doesn't know about him) has sent the H to check her out and see if she's a worthy heir. As the story unfolds, so does the relationship between the main characters.

I loved the way the h was feisty but not shrewish. She stood up to the H and didn't immediately give in and agree to marry him. The H is not the very aggressive and abusive type of alpha, although, obviously, he is not without issues.

The story came together well and the epilogue saved me from thinking that the H wouldn't stay true to the h, because he still wasn't sure he loved her towards the end. The book is well worth reading and I recommend it.

This is a great quick little read overall I did like the lead characters in the book up to a certain point I felt that the lead female in this book was a bit annoying but I love that she seemed to be able to stand on her own 2 feet and take care of herself. The lead character seem to be a bit confused and oblivious to his own feelings to me because it was very obvious that he did in fact have feelings for her . This book I did enjoy because it seemed to me that the lead character was obviously not a chauvinistic pig who railroads the woman into doing what he wants as it is with other novels of its Kind. Overall I did enjoy it it's worth the money you will love it I think I can overlook the things that bug me about the book because it was so good the storyline that is.

I'm a Lynne Graham fan and with one small exception, this book delivered big time. The only thing I found a little odd is that the heroine was a virgin, yet she slept with the hero after knowing him for only a week, and based on very little except the fact that he was gorgeous. Normally, Graham's books build more of a relationship between the hero/heroine. That threw me. However, the heroine's character and witty dialogue was absolutely the star of this book. she isn't a doormat, all needy and weak. It was a delight to just read her dialogue and how she gave the hero fits! I will re-read this book over and over because of the dialogue between the hero and heroine. Even the ending was delightful, as the hero found himself unable to just let her walk away. The way he gets her back was fantastic.

Over time I've read a number of Lynn Graham books. Some I've enjoyed, others not so much. This one was great! It had humour, romance and some angst for the h(Rosie). While the h(Alexius) was dominate and arrogant as are most of the male leads are in Ms. Graham's books, Alexius didn't go overboard nor did he really hurt Rosie as a lot of her male characters do in her other books.

Even if you're not a fan of Ms. Graham, you'll definitely enjoy this book especially with the inclusion of "Bas" (Rosie's dog) he's hilarious. Oftentimes, the moments where he goes after Alexius's ankles just crack me up and one of the best scenes in the book is where Alexius drives Rosie and manages to stall the car repeatedly while his security team are following probably laughing their "heads off".

Love this book and so will many other readers. Kudos to Lynn Graham for this charming and enjoyable read!
