Dictionary of Human Neuroanatomy, Martin C. Whether it was during my studies or, now, when preparing lectures, during scientific work or discussions ofhow the brain functions - over and over again I have reached a point. Netter's atlas of human neuroscience, David L. Felten, Ralph F. Jzefowicz, Jul 1, 2003, Medical, 310 pages.

A profound understanding of this architecture is a prerequisite to understanding the functions and dysfunctions of the brain, to pass examinations in neuroanatomy, and to conduct operations in neurosurgery. The illustrations in this stereoscopic atlas have been developed with the greatest scientific thoroughness, and using an absolutely new 3D computer model. The use of a complex, stereoscopic visualization procedure presents the reader with a completely new and amazing, yet comprehensible, insight into the human brain.

This book accomplishes its purpose of giving you a concise definition and or function of the neuroanatomical structure you are looking up, BUT the price is outrageous! It is a paperback book, 163 pages long, and 5" x 7" x 3/8" and it costs very near $70. Give me a break, please! This book should cost $9.95. If you need it, then I suggest that you buy it used or borrow it. 5 stars for content, 1 star for price, average = 3 stars.
