This textbook, complete with countless typos and unnecessarily superfluous language, was a requirement for my Psychoeducational Consultation and Collaboration Course as part of my CECP Master's Program. I would not recommend this text to a future counselor or consultant. It was primarily aimed at future public school consultants, which is not applicable in any way to my field. However, regardless of the intended audience, the text was written in a very difficult-to-follow fashion and many of the chapters seemed to wander off topic and proved very difficult to summarize.

I found myself correcting spelling errors while reading and noticed that the person who I bought it used from had been correcting errors within the book as well.

This was a required text book for a consultation course for a doctorate level course. The text is poorly composed, the content not very useful or easily applied to the clinician setting, and does not go beyond what I would call "common sense." I would not buy this if I was not forced. I rated it as 1 star because 0 is not an option.

Not the most helpful or well-constructed book on this subject. Poorly written, several typos, and I do not feel like I have a thorough understanding of psychological consultation/collaboration after reading it. I do appreciate the summaries and review questions at the end of each chapter, however.

Rented this text for a doctoral level course in consultation. This book is by far one of the worst textbooks that I have ever read.

This is a good book for people who are learning about consultations. It's easy to read and it's a good reference to have.

This book is difficult to work with. The organization of the book is poor and I wish my professor had another option for us to use. It has been hard to find enough information to write my essays on easy topics, the glossary is limited, and there is alot of text crammed into small pages. I am a 4.0 grad student and this book is the most difficult I have ever worked with. I suppose the information is solid but it is not very through and could use a better layout. Use it if you have no other option.
This is a great consultation manual.
