I've been reading this series in the order they were written. I have to say that I really didn't like this book at all. If you're a British history buff or are very interested in England itself, then I'd say you would probably enjoy this book. I'm not into either. Too much time dealt with the sights on the tour. The story line itself held very little substance and the plot was unbelievable and not in a good way. Oh well, on to the next book!

As it happens, I am planning a trip to London at the end of this month. It was sheer luck that I stumbled across this book. Once I started reading it, I could hardly put it down. I was mostly interested in the tours Lucy's little group took -some of them matched up with plans we have and some gave me more places to consider. I was appaled as to how little some Americans know about Europe and equally appaled at how some in Lucy's tour looked at groups from other countries (I have never found Germans to be as they were desribed in the book) The mystery part kept my interest, but I do hope Lucy will travel to another country as the author pulled in my interest in two ways - both the mystery and the travel. Books about Halloween just aren't as exciting to me as a trip to Paris would be. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Enjoyable mystery. Loved that most of it took place in England. Good characters and a little bit of a surprise ending.

I like to travel also and so it's fun reading her books with the mysteries happening at places that I have been!!! waiting for Lucy Stone to go to Indonesia or Asia!!

I loved the development of the characters in this story. I was disappointed when Lucy protected the group who conspired to kill the man responsible for hurting all their families in terrible ways, because two wrongs don't make a right. Overall I loved this story.

Love this book. Really good mystery.
she never seemed to get to the point. lots of rambling!, this genre doesn't need all the extra fluff!
