There’s no single boilerplate closing statement form for sellers from state to state, so don’t expect your statement to look exactly like the one below. However, the seller’s settlement form developed by the trade group ALTA (American Land Title Association) is widely used across the nation for real estate transactions, and lists the main terms you’re likely to see on your statement (so we use it as an example here). You may see the settlement statement come into play in coordination with the Closing Disclosure form.

However closing the statement is not performed with the first method. Closing the ResultSet or Statement is a good practice. You may get additional problems with not closed Statements. Additionally the second method is very useful when using the PrepairedStatement, because it can set parameters to the PreparedStatement.

I really like this series. It is based in Louisville, KY (where I grew up). A realtor Schuyler Ridgeway seems to be in trouble no matter what she does. A previous client is suing her for not disclosing bad things about a house he bought. The client is known as a sumbag lawyer out to get a buck. Schuyler wants it to go to court so she can clear her name. When she goes to show a house the next day, there is the almost dead body of the lawyer laying in the living room. He speaks to her before he is taken out by the EMT's. What he said doesn't make sense.
Matthias (her boyfriend) tries to help her, but Schuyler has a mind of her own. The police seem to think that Schuyler is guilty of murder.
She tries to help them, but it is a waste of time. She was cleared in a previous murder, but they seem to think that she is guilty this time.
Her logic might not always make sense, but how does she get the law to listen to her. Almost getting herself killed, seems to help.

I read all four of this series and just loved them. The main character is a kick in the pants. I am so sorry that there are only four books.

I enjoyed this follow up to "Heir Condition". It continues the series with realtor Schuyler Ridgeway, and includes many of the memorable characters from the that book. The story begins with Schuyler showing a house to a young couple looking for a starter house, where they discover a man shot on the floor.
Unfortunately for Schuyler, the dying man happens to be the same one suing her. Since the police have already decided that she has the motive and opportunity, so she becomes the prime suspect. Not wanting to wait for Louisville's finest to find the real killer, she sets out to find the murderer herself with boyfriend Mathias in tow.
A lot of fun, with a spunky heroine. I enjoyed it even more than Heir Condition.
