Margaret Yorke is an able writer I've come rely on over the years and years and years of reading mysteries, and I re-read all her work regularly and with great pleasure. I won't spoil the enjoyments with plots and characters; its just an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed the characters, events, and the twists, but I felt that the ending was anti-climatic as if the writer just wanted to end it and focused the ending on one of the supporting characters. I was surprised it ended where it did.
