A new novel by Evelyn Anthony is always a major event. I can honesty that this a book that I mostly likely would not have brought. I picked it up because at the end of last year, Open Road Media had hundreds of freebies listed, and several Anthony books were among them. I am a book slut and the rest is history. While the plot of the book is somewhat predictable, it was, in fact, a thrilling read. The heroine is Julia, a reporter, who is told by her boss to bring down a business rival.

I use books on tape as a way of enduring long, boring, road trips, tedious chores, and as a distraction while exercising. The book has got to be interesting enough to keep me going, or I'll stop it after the first cassette and find another. Exposure" was a shot in the dark as I'd never heard of the author and don't know anybody else who has read or listened to this book.

Julia Hamilton was a high-profile journalist with Western International Newspapers. When press magnate Lord Western offered her a job with the "Sunday Herald" she couldn't refuse to become the head of a new riveting feature - Exposure - its aim to expose corruption and malpractice in high places. Her first target was to go for Western's enemy and rival, the business and media tycoon Harold King, alias Hans Koenig. Koenig was a man of mystery, a man who had hidden the truth about his beginnings in Germany and who would do anything to keep his past secret.
Julia recruits her former editor, Ben Harris, a difficult and embittered man, and together they travel to Germany where their search leads them to Jean Adams, the niece of King's first wife, and witness of his sinister past. When Jean becomes the victim of a savage sexual killing, Julia is even more determined to uncover King's past.
